I'm a creative professional with no children. (I live alone. I can swing on the chandelier naked and no one can tell me not to....Hey, I'm not saying that I'm mature!) I have a great sense of humor and attempted stand-up comedy in college on a bet.

I'm better looking than the photos. Everyone says that I look a lot younger than I am. (Thanks to plastic surgery and the Witness Protection Program. Shhhh. Don't tell anyone.)
I have a variety of interests. I like to travel (love cruising the Caribbean), read books (I try to read two a week, ranging from fiction to biographies, history and science. I also write science-fiction and Twilight Zone-ish types of short stories, when I have the time), go to the movies, comedy shows, concerts and sporting events (yeah, I know, the usual stuff), listen to rock instrumentals and jam bands (great in the car on a long trip), try different restaurants (I'm a meat and potatoes guy but I'll try anything once. I also can't resist a good Sunday brunch), bike and hike (well, after trying all those different restaurants, I need to exercise because everything goes to my hips......uh, if you're not laughing, or at least smiling, that was supposed to be a joke), and go to the beach during the summer. I'm always open to new adventures but it doesn't matter what I do as long as I'm enjoying the company and sharing interests and experiences.
I'm very inquisitive, love engaging conversation (a quick wit and snappy comeback works for me), well educated and can probably talk to anyone about anything. (I'm pretty smart. In fact, I've been called a genius many times, as in "Listen Genius, you need to unscrew the cap off the wine bottle BEFORE you try to take a sip from it!")
I'm the same mischievous guy I was in college except I'm a little older, wiser, and better dressed.
I would like to meet someone who is tall, attractive, intelligent, creative, honest, confident, outgoing, genuine, etc., etc., etc., and -- if that's not enough, this is REALLY important -- has a great sense of humor like I do. I think a relationship should be spontaneous and romantic; be playful and fun...
(We can role-play. I'm Albert Einstein and you're Eleanor Roosevelt.....or maybe it's the other way around:
"Ellie, you must tell the President that I have the formula for the BOMB!"
"Ooooh, then PROVE it to me Albert!")
I would like to meet someone I can laugh with, be silly with...and yes, be serious with too. I would like to meet my best friend.

You should message me if you want to meet a really nice guy. However, if you are a woman who loves cats, stuffed animals, Billy Joel... is geographically incompatible or takes the profiles and questions on this site a little too seriously, it's just not gonna work out....
